What Is Somatic Life Coaching?

Somatic coaching integrates mind and body for deep, lasting transformation. Your body holds the wisdom, patterns, and memories that shape every decision and reaction — and this work honours that intelligence.

We work in two directions:

  • Top-down: exploring thoughts, beliefs, narratives, and meaning-making patterns

  • Bottom-up: working with sensation, nervous system responses, and embodied experience

Together, this creates change that is both conscious and physiological.

Through gentle, trauma-informed techniques, we work with:

  • Physical sensations as doorways to deeper understanding

  • Nervous system regulation for sustainable calm

  • Embodied practices that build new neural pathways

The Transformation Process: 12 Weeks to Embodied Change

I offer 12-week coaching partnerships to allow for real integration.

Change that involves the nervous system takes time — not because something is wrong with you, but because sustainable regulation and new responses are built through repetition, awareness, and lived experience.

There is no rigid formula and no fixed sequence. Some clients begin by stabilising their nervous system. Others start by uncovering thought patterns or exploring relational dynamics. We follow what is present and relevant for you.

Across our work together, you can expect:

  • Increased awareness of your patterns and their roots

  • Greater capacity to regulate your nervous system in real time

  • More choice in how you respond, rather than simply react

  • Integration of new behaviours and ways of being into daily life

Each session blends focused conversation with embodied exploration. This may include breath awareness, grounding practices, subtle movement, nervous system tracking, or reflective experiments between sessions.

Grounded in trauma-informed care, I ask "What does your body need right now?" rather than "What's wrong with you?"

My practice draws from:

  • Somatic Experiencing for nervous system regulation

  • Decades of bodywork and energy healing

  • My own journey through burnout and recovery
